We are a diverse group of specialists, emergency vets, nurses, technicians and support professionals that are committed to working collaboratively to provide compassionate veterinary expertise 24/7. Current disciplines include internal medicine, surgery, emergency and critical care, diagnostic imaging, theriogenology, dermatology, anaesthesia and cardiology with immediate plans to expand our services. 


Our Critical Care Team
Our Critical Care service operates within a state-of-the-art intensive care unit, offering lifesaving
support for pets in need of immediate, expert treatment. Equipped with advanced technologies, we provide mechanical ventilation, high-flow nasal oxygen therapy, temperature and humidity-
controlled oxygen cages, continuous multi-parameter monitoring (including ECG, invasive blood
pressure, capnography, and pulse oximetry), component transfusion therapy, bedside
ultrasonography, digital radiography, endoscopic foreign body retrieval, and advanced imaging
techniques like CT and MRI.
Additionally, our fully equipped in-house laboratory, which includes point-of-care viscoelastic
testing, allows for rapid diagnostics, while enteral and parenteral nutritional support ensures
comprehensive patient care. Our team, comprising registered specialists and senior clinicians with over 40 years of combined experience, is committed to providing exceptional 24/7 care. Plans to expand the service across two of our Southeast locations (Stafford and Sunshine Coast) have allowed availability for another criticalist to join the team in Brisbane.

Requirements of the role
 Be a Board qualified specialist in Emergency and Critical Care being either a Fellow (ANZCVS)
or Diplomate (DACVECC, EVECC).
 Foster a growth mindset to effectively disseminate the message about QVS and contribute
to the establishment and growth of the hospital
